Brewing up a sustainable future: We’ve partnered with ScottishPower to install over 300 EV chargers across the South West

Currently the electrical infrastructure in the South West is sparse, with Cornwall Council estimating that there are only around 450 EV charging points in Cornwall*. ScottishPower and St Austell Brewery have teamed up to boost charging points by approximately 60%, installing Rapid and Ultra-Rapid units across the region.

We’re the south west’s leading brewing, hospitality and drinks wholesale business, and as well as being famous for beers including Tribute, korev and Proper Job, we have over 160 pubs in its estate and a leading wholesale business across the region.

Committed to achieving net zero emissions across our operations by 2040, we’ve already upgraded our company car fleet and installed EV chargers for employees driving hybrid or electric vehicles across all of our head offices.
